With this year's theme being "Performance" it is a great fit for DuPont's products, expertise and sponsorship. The conference, taking place July 11-12 in the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center, offers ideal networking and learning opportunities for architects, engineers, developers, consultants and anyone professionally involved in the design industry. It will trace the history and evolution of facade design over the past five years and will answer questions about the performance, delivery and maintenance of sustainably built facades, and propose innovative design solutions to the dynamically changing environmental conditions.
On Friday July 12th at the California College of the Arts – which is hosting the conference's workshops – the morning session's Dialogue Workshop will see an industry expert panel, including Valerie Block, a Senior Marketing Specialist, DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions, discussing Emerging Material Technologies.
The session will explore both the unique advantages associated with each material, as well as the challenges of introducing innovative façade technologies into architectural applications. The discussion will include an emphasis on performance metrics for each technology and case study applications of successful implementation.
