In the last two years, the country has stood out because of its speed of development and expansion. All DuPont businesses in Russia have shown double digit growth with an average growth rate of 40 percent. Our ambition is to be a strong local player with empowered local leadership firmly embedded at the hub of this fast-developing regional economy.
Fueled by the oil and gas industry, Russia is growing at an unprecedented rate for a country of its size, with a seven percent gross domestic product (GDP) annual growth rate. A formidable, well-educated pool of human talent has emerged to revitalize the Russian business world. This has enabled us to create a dynamic, experienced and motivated team, of which we are very proud."
