The glass manifestation provides the visual appearance of the graphics being printed directly on to the glass providing maximum impact and branding. DigiGlass worked with Britannia International’s agency to develop the branded designs and installed the film on internal glass partitions as well as external glazing within the Athol Street Branch in Douglas, Isle of Man.Port Erin and Ramsey branches of Britannia International also had the decorative window film installed.
The complex process involves printing five colours in three layers on to optically clear PET window film, giving an identical effect from inside and out.
Britannia International has a number of internal policies and community focused projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and offsetting business waste. These Corporate Social Responsibility goals are complimented by the window film’s environmental specifications. The film can block up to 99% of the sun’s ultraviolet rays helping to reduce incoming solar energy, meaning less heating in winter and less air conditioning required in summer.
Managing Director of Britannia International commented, “DigiGlass has given us a solution that has greatly enhanced the profile of our three branches in the Isle of Man and has already generated fantastic feedback from our customers. The decision to install the window film was made all the easier by the environmental properties of the product.”
DigiGlass offer a range of products that compliment the decorative window film including bespoke wallpaper and canvas prints with an international installation service. A showcase of the recent installation and the range of products can be found at www.digiglass.com.
