Development of building materials industry in the structure of the Ministry of Construction and Housing

December 9, 2013 a meeting of the heads of federal sector unions and associations of manufacturers of building materials in Russia.

Discussed issues related to the drafting of a federal target program of building materials and industrial housing for the period up to 2014 - 2019 period.  Unanimously supporting the decision of the Government on the establishment of the Ministry of Construction and Housing Russian participants expressed concern with the proposed structure of the Ministry, where no clear service development of domestic construction materials.

Following the meeting decided to prepare and hold a meeting with Menem MA - Minister of the newly created department. The purpose of the organization of the meeting was the need to pay attention to the structure of the highest state leaders responsible for building complex of Russia, the need to incorporate into the relevant ministry powerful unit responsible for providing complex new forms of domestic construction materials. Without government regulation of the process of joint construction industry development and construction materials industry results to implement the state program to 2020 will be impossible to fulfill.

At the meeting, scheduled to be presented as set out in writing the consolidated position of the Coordinating Council of Professional unions and associations in Russia.

Elected initiative group, composed of heads of industry unions and associations: Viktor Osipov - Russian President StekloSouz, Skorokhod Michael A. - Chairman Soyuzcement Zhuravlev, Alexander A. - President of the Association Nedra, Goncharov Yuri - President of the Russian Association of gypsum.
