Cuba Glass, the first event dedicated to technologies and solutions for glass processing in Cuba and the Caribbean area, opens its doors to visitors on 6th December 2016.

At the event, taking place at Hotel Melia Cohiba Congress Centre, 40 companies – major suppliers of machinery and technological solutions – coming from Italy, Germany, Finland, France, Spain, Mexico, USA and Ecuador, will welcome managers, technicians and other sector professionals from glassworks in Cuba, Central America and Caribbean countries.

Cuba Glass will showcase the latest solutions for batch plants, melting furnaces, forming machines for glass containers, vials and ampoules, tableware, special glasses, coating and decoration, and handling lines for flat and hollow glass.

Visitors will be able to talk directly to firms supplying tempering and laminating glass and furnaces, grinders and washing machines, glass cutting tables, insulating glass, decorative glass, architectural glass and more. Day one will also see the start of the conference sessions of GPD CUBA (Glass Performance Days), commencing at 09.45, with a full programme of papers from industry experts covering quality, architectural glass in emerging economies, new product innovations, glass processing and safety.

The conference will be inaugurated by authorities from the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.
