Co., LTD’s 84-inch Comuto-S and Arisu-S 4K2K interactive flat panel displays.
The Comuto-S and Arisu-S will be showcased for the first time in AHA’s booth (N3157) at InfoComm, which runs today through Friday in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
AHA’s interactive flat panel displays use projected-capacitive touch technology detecting up to 10 touch points at the same time by using a finger or a deductive stylus pen. Multi-touch interaction can enable many users to interact with the display simultaneously, a feature required for collaboration in professional settings. Additionally, the anti-glare surface delivers both clarity and outstanding touch and feel.
“The use of projected-capacitive touch technology, paired with direct-bonded Gorilla Glass, makes the Comuto-S flat panel display a precise and responsive professional tool,” said David Loeber, business director, Corning Large Cover Glass. “The projected capacitive touch technology originally penetrated the handheld electronic market. Now leading companies, like AHA are making great strides in applying the technology to the interactive large-size display market.”
“The primary market for the Comuto-S and Arisu-S are corporate and hotel meeting spaces where several professionals gather to collaborate and need a reliable, professional solution,” said Gido Koo, president, AHA Inc Co., LTD. “Durable Gorilla Glass offers the damage and scratch resistance these settings need due to frequent usage.”
With four times the resolution of a full HD display, the choice of a thin, optically clear Gorilla Glass is particularly important to avoid hindering vibrant content, which can occur with other thicker cover-glass solutions.
“We believe the industry wants higher performance touch systems and therefore, we encourage individuals to visit AHA’s booth at InfoComm and interact with the product live,” said Loeber.
Corning Incorporated will also be at InfoComm 2014 (booth N2521) where the company will showcase its latest advanced innovations in glass and cabling.
Corning Gorilla Glass is currently featured on more than 33 major brands and designed into more than 2,450 product models, resulting in more than 2.7 billion units worldwide.
