Corning Incorporated announced today that its board of directors has elected Dr. Jean-Pierre Mazeau to senior vice president, Corporate Product and Process Development, effective Jan. 1, 2008.

He continues to report to Dr. Joseph A. Miller, Jr., executive vice president and chief technology officer, with overall responsibility for the effectiveness of the product and process development function for the company.
