Triple insulating glasses with a solar protection function from CLIMAplusSECURIT partner, Zech und Döring Glas, ensure optimal comfort. The combination of flat and curved glasses was a challenge.
With its elegantly rounded glass facade, the Kopfbau of the savings bank building has recently become an attractive eye-catcher in Wallerfangen. The building construction, optically and functionally designed in two parts, thus not only satisfies the requirements of the Savings Bank itself for more space and contemporary furnishings, but also evaluates the urban situation at a local picture formative spot on. All glasses of the new building are partly made as triple glazing SGG CLIMATOP or SGG CONTOUR CLIMATOP with solar protection coating.
Well matched
The special effect of the savings bank's new building consists, among other things, of the combination of curved and flat planes of glass. When both types of glass are installed in a facade, careful planning is already necessary in the planning or tendering phase. Only in this way can it be ensured that the facade is optically homogeneous and harmonious and there are no undesired colour variations.
