Chinna's Huaguang Group Performs Well in First 7 Months

Asia Pulse Huaguang Group, a main glass maker of China located in the eastern Anhui Province realized an output value of 285.1529 million yuan 9US$34.5 million) in the first seven months of this year, up 59.07 per cent year on year; a sales revenue of 291.21 million yuan, up 61 per cent; a gross profit of 30.19 million yuan, up 100 per cent; and a net profit of 19.9 million yuan, up 98.4 per cent.The group produced 2.65 million weight crates of float glass and 4.66 million pieces of ITO conductive membrane glass in the first seven months, up 12 per cent and 63.41 per cent year on year respectively.

Meanwhile, it produced 56,821 square meters of ferro-glass, 10,939 square meters of laminated glass, 11,699 square meters of hollow glass, 2,167 square meters of bullet-proof glass, 559 square meters of windshield glass, 144,988 square meters of mirror glass, and 918 tons of PVC sections and PE, pipes, all growing sharply as compared with the same period of 2003.

Furthermore, the company's ITO conductive membrane fourth-line project is expected to go into operation in October this year, and will be capable of producing four million pieces of ITO conductive membrane glass for STN-LCD a year, earning the company a sales revenue of 40 million yuan and a net profit of 10 million yuan. By then, annual production capacity of ITO conductive membrane glass of the company will top 15 million pieces, ranking first in Asia.

It is learned that the company will put into operation four more large projects in the latter half of this year.
