Changes in the Management of Bucher Emhart Glass

Date: 10 April 2014

We are pleased to announce that with effect from 1 April 2014 a new Vice President Finance has been appointed.   NL Wong, currently VP Finance, moves to the newly created position as Finance Director Asia for the Bucher Group and has therefore left Bucher Emhart Glass.

His long lasting career at Bucher Emhart Glass started in 1983 as Controller of the Singapore offices followed by different promotions where in July 1999 he became VP Finance. NL Wong graduated in accountancy from the University of Singapore where he is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of CPA Australia. His profound knowledge of Bucher Emhart Glass and the Group as well as his extensive Asian competence will be the sound basis for the new task.

Reto Semadeni is the new VP Finance of Bucher Emhart Glass. Reto Semadeni studied economics and holds a diploma as certified public accountant. After his studies he worked as auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers as well as the Head of corporate accounting of a listed Swiss Group. He joined the Bucher Group Finance team on 1 June 2008 as Head of Group Controlling. His 5-year experience as Head of Group Controlling and as the Leader of the Internal Control combined with his business and theoretical knowledge will support him in the new challenges at Bucher Emhart Glass.

‘I’m very pleased to announce these two key appointments’, comments Martin Jetter, Bucher Emhart Glass’ President. ‘Reto comes to us with a new sight as well as extensive professional experience in finance. I also thank NL for his long lasting career within our company. I wish both Reto and NL the very best in their new roles.’
