Bohle (www.bohle-group.com) will be present again at this important international event this year and will be displaying their products and solutions for glass processing and finishing in Hall 24, Booth B09. The launch of the new Bohle surface protection product, BriteGuard, will be the highlight of this year´s presentation.
BriteGuard sets new standards for surface protection
BriteGuard (www.briteguard.com) is the new Bohle brand for surface protection products. Bohle draw on 90 years of experience in working with glass, and continuing to set new standards have now developed this top quality, easy-to-use surface protection product for glass and glazed ceramic surfaces. BriteGuard is available both for smooth surfaces like glass showers, facades, glass furniture, balustrades, conservatories, etc. and for rough, sandblasted and satin-finished surfaces. BriteGuard will be presented at Vitrum as an independent Bohle AG branded product.
Outstanding characteristics
BriteGuard Surface Sealer and Surface Sealer X react chemically with glass and glazed ceramics to form a high strength functional layer that protects against dirt deposits and glass corrosion. This functional layer is significantly more resistant than other surface products and withstands mechanical wear as well as chemicals, heat, UV radiation and much more. The BriteGuard modular system makes it very easy to select the correct products. The set basically consists of the two coating products BriteGuard Surface Sealer for smooth surfaces and BriteGuard Surface Sealer X for rough surfaces.
Surface Activator is used for pre-cleaning smooth surfaces and Surface Finisher for final cleaning – the BriteGuard modular system does not bombard the customer with a confusing deluge of products. BriteGuard can be easily applied and the customer does not have to purchase additional application equipment.
BriteGuard Surface Sealer X can be applied by hand or machine – with a cotton pad, spray bottle or applicator – as you please. BriteGuard protection is achieved in 3 easy steps – pre-cleaning, coating, final cleaning - without having to purchase expensive equipment.
Sandblasting Cabinet produced by Bohle
Apart from their sedimentor series, an innovation on the international stage during the past few years as a solution for coolant cleaning, at the Vitrum 2011 trade show the company present a new sandblasting cabinet produced in Germany by Bohle. The new Bohle SBM 1500 sandblasting cabinet allows fully automatic sandblasting of designs or surfaces as well as very easy manual spot and surface blasting. In contrast to other systems, the glass remains stationary and the cabinet moves across the glass. This saves space because no entry or exit is required for the glass. Furthermore, by keeping the glass stationary, you eliminate the risk of scratching the rear side of the glass. The dustproof sandblasting cabinet automatically moves across the object according to the pre-defined program and gives the surface a matt finish to the desired intensity. Up to 20 different processing programs can be called up, specified and changed on the touch screen without any programming experience required. To change the blasting result, you can freely select the working range and speeds, number of repetitions, increments and blasting pressure.
Live Demonstrations
The Bohle showroom offers interested visitors detailed insight into the fields of glass cutting and glass bonding, where Bohle application technicians regularly present tools and explain processing techniques. In this way Bohle present themselves at Vitrum as a full-range provider for everything concerning glass processing and manufacturing in crafts and industry.
