The Big 5 – the biggest annual building and construction trade show in the Middle East will be taking place in Dubai, UAE from the 22 - 25 November 2010.

As the Big 5 Exhibition meets in 2010, we know that the construction industry has had to grapple with a range of challenges over the past couple of years.

Securing new jobs, dealing with material price fluctuations, ensuring sustainability at all stages, renegotiating contracts……the resurgent construction industry certainly has a lot on its plate.

However, looking forward, there are significant growth areas and leading designers, architects, contractors, engineers and suppliers can take a positive lead in driving the industry forward.

So what will the new construction industry look like coming out of the recession?  Will the business of construction return to business as usual? Will all contracts need to be renegotiated? Will green projects take a back seat as finances are still tightly guarded? Will construction costs be cut to the bone? Will potential growth markets in the GCC really come to fruition?

Now, more than ever, the construction industry needs a platform to discuss key challenges and opportunities in one place with all the major players there.

To that end, we are pleased to announce two major conferences at The Big 5 Exhibition:
