Balcony Systems, the UK’s leading balustrading specialist, has tripled its choice of versatile glass Juliet balconies with the addition of two new stylish options catering for all aspects of the market and virtually any design requirement.

Adding an attractive Mirror-style Juliet and the renowned Balcony 2 (aerofoil) handrail to the cost-effective traditional 70mm handrail system boosts the range to 80 different standard models available with a five working day turnaround. Countless custom Juliet balcony sizes – up to an amazing 4,100mm wide without the need for any vertical posts – can also be supplied with a 30-day lead time. Both the traditional 70mm handrail and Balcony 2 (aerofoil) handrail systems use a bracketed bottom rail that fits underneath the cill and are available in seven sizes from 1.28m to 2.84 m wide. With its slimline 51mm height handrail, the Balcony 2 system permits up to 4,100mm spans without supporting posts.

Using a 70mm handrail on top and an inverted handrail on the bottom, the Mirror Juliet does not require fixing under the cill to give a neat, clean and perfectly-balanced external appearance. The Mirror version comes in six sizes from 1.28m to 2.45m, with custom sizes offered up to 2,450mm wide requiring no posts on a 30-day lead time.

All three systems can be supplied in four handrail colours - White powder-coated, silver, bronze and Balcony’s proprietary Royal Chrome anodised finishes – with 10mm clear toughened glass and an optional BalcoNano® self-cleaning glass coating. For custom Juliet balconies, there’s a wide variety of glass options, including laminated and tinted panels.

Effi Wolff, Balcony Systems Managing Director commented: “The addition of our two new systems with their distinct advantages and features opens up myriad exciting design opportunities for construction professionals and homeowners alike at prices to suit all budgets.

“Both systems build on the huge success of our original product - one of the most popular and affordable glass Juliet balcony systems in the UK – and share its attributes of being low-maintenance and easy to install with clear glass to maximise exterior views,” added Effi.
