Asahi Glass Co Ltd , Japan's largest glassmaker, said on Monday it would post a special loss of 38 billion yen ($281 million) related to restructuring measures in the business year to next March.

Asahi, which revised its 2001/02 group net forecast to a loss of nine billion yen from the previous estimate of a profit of 10 billion yen, also said it planned to cut 150 employees from its chemicals business by October.Asahi Glass Co Ltd , Japan's largest glassmaker, said on Monday it would post a special loss of 38 billion yen ($281 million) related to restructuring measures in the business year to next March.
