The Tecglass Vitrojet prints on glass from widths of 63” to 130” wide and up to 40’ in length, with an unrivaled print resolution of 1440 x 720 dpi and print speeds up to 900 square feet/hr. The Vitrojet is available in 2 models – the Vitrojet CR and Vitrojet MT. The major difference is that the MT has a moving table to carry the glass for the entire process, whereas the CR has a suction cup technology to lift and transport the glass. These printers have a patented ink recirculation system (IPT) at the nozzle level, that saves you time as the nozzles are always ready to fire; ceramic inks in other systems tend to sediment (less waste).
The Tecglass printing process is swift & efficient, and has a few short steps – image processing, cleaning the glass, digital printing, drying, tempering and any additional fabrication. Tempering the glass at 620-650 degrees Celsius after printing cures the ceramic ink at this temperature and the ink becomes part of the glass ensuring that the print lasts a lifetime.
Today, most companies have to compete in an increasingly competitive marketplace and are looking for innovative technologies to help them surge ahead of the competition Arrow Systems, Inc. and Tecglass have combined their widespread knowledge of digital printing and glass to design this ceramic glass printer which will help you gain a competitive advantage in the glass market.
