U of Ls fine arts department sponsors the Frederic Lindley Morgan architectural history lectures, named for the late Louisville building designer. They are:
- Feb. 16 How to Live? Where to Live? Seventeenth Century Cardinals and Their Dwellings in Rome, Patricia Waddy, Syracuse University architecture professor and former president of the Society of Architectural Historians. She is teaching a seminar on 17th century Roman palaces this semester at U of L as the Frederic Lindley Morgan visiting professor in architectural history.
- March 9 See-through Architecture: The Changing Meaning of Transparency in Architecture, Nigel Whiteley, Lancaster University art professor and author of Design for Society and Pop Design Modernism to Mod.
- April 6 Title to be announced, James Carpenter, New York City-based glass sculptor and designer known for works ranging from Seattle City Halls blue glass bridge to the prismatic façade of the Seven World Trade Center reconstruction.
