Amica today announced a change in their glass program business model effective March 1, 2008. Gerber National Glass Services will now serve in the role as Amica’s glass program administrator for “in program” glass claims.

Lynx Services will administer “out of program” glass claims.

“Our glass program was developed many years ago to improve customer service and our claim handling efficiency,” said Sean Welch, Assistant Vice President at Amica. “The program continues to evolve and our association with Gerber and Lynx will enhance our customer service. Giving our customers the choice of repairers is always paramount for us.”

“We know both Gerber and Lynx and have had very positive experiences with them,” continues Mr. Welch. "We concluded that these two partners, individually and collectively, are the best fit for our customers at this time.” With this change, Amica concludes the previous partnerships with two high quality providers, including TeleGlass National Corp. “Amica appreciates the efficient and professional services that TeleGlass and others have provided to Amica and its policyholders,” explained Mr. Welch. “Our decision to change vendors is the result of Amica’s natural business evolution. We have always been pleased with the quality and cost-effectiveness of the services provided by them.”
