The R.W. Kern Center at Hampshire College, is one of the greenest buildings in the world, designed to be entirely self-sustaining and meet the Living Status of the Living Building Challenge.

Energy Select was utilized on the #2 and #5 surfaces of the triple insulating glass units, providing multiple benefits: high visible light transmission, solar control and thermal insulation, ideal for achieving a more healthy working and learning environment that is also located in a cold climate region.
