The 33rd China Glass Exhibition has kicked off today, running from April 25 to 28, 2024, in Shanghai.

The 33rd China International Glass Industry Technology Exhibition (CHINA GLASS 2024), sponsored by the Chinese Ceramic Society and hosted by Beijing China Silicon Exhibition Co., Ltd., will be held in Shanghai from April 25 to 28, 2024. China Glass Exhibition is one of the two major professional exhibitions in the global glass industry. It is supported by authoritative industry organizations both domestically and internationally, integrates hosting and organizing, and possesses completely independent intellectual property rights.

The 33rd China Glass Exhibition will occupy seven exhibition halls—from Halls N1 to N5, Hall W4, and Hall W5—at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, covering an area of 90,000 square meters. It will feature 877 manufacturers from 29 countries and regions and is expected to attract more than 50,000 industry professionals from around the world.

As an exhibition encompassing the entire industrial chain of the glass industry, China Glass Exhibition has consistently adhered to the concepts of professionalism, internationalization, and large-scale exhibitions. It closely follows the trend of high-end, intelligent, and green development in the industry, actively introduces leading manufacturers in green and low-carbon intelligent manufacturing, and supports the development and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, continually enhancing the overall image of "Made in China". The China Glass Exhibition has become an important window and platform for the industry to build a new development pattern and promote a high level of openness in the industry.

The exhibition will cover all fields of glass production, including glass products, new energy glass, information display glass, glass deep processing technology and equipment, glass melting and molding technology and equipment, high-quality refractory materials, daily and decorative glass, glass raw materials, and hardware accessories. New technologies, products, and equipment in areas such as intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing in the field of building energy conservation will be highlighted at this exhibition. During the exhibition, a series of lectures and manufacturer promotional activities, including "When Archaeology Meets Technology - The Silk Road Story of Ancient Glass," will be held. Topics will include carbon footprint improvement, carbon emission reduction in glass production, domestic testing equipment applications in special glass production, research on the design and application of fire-resistant glass, smart factories, digital assistance in R&D of high-end glass equipment, and more.

The 33rd China Glass Exhibition leverages the large market scale advantage of China's glass industry and consistently focuses on industry development goals. It aims to provide more business opportunities for economic and trade exchanges in the global glass industry, offer a larger competitive stage for technological innovation within the industry, and support the green, low-carbon, safe, and high-quality development of China's glass industry.
