Bürkle North America Celebrates 25 Years in Business; Plans to Open East Coast Technology Center.

Helfried Weinzerl, President and CEO of Burkle North America, announced today that the North America subsidiary of Burkle GmbH will open a new East Coast Technology Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The new facility will be available sometime in late first quarter 2017 with equipment to be added over time. Burkle will officially dedicate the new facility with a Grand Opening scheduled for the third quarter of 2017.

In other news, now celebrating 25 years in business, Burkle North America enters 2017 with a record backlog stretching across all of its main business units; Woodworking, Solar & Glass, Printed Circuit Board, Plastic Card and Sign & Graphics Coating.

Weinzerl pointed out that, “The last six months were a record order period for us leaving us with a backlog of machine sales into 2017 and beyond.”

He continues, “Sales were buoyed by large orders for Solar Module manufacturing equipment, Woodworking machinery and Schmoll Drilling machine sales in the electronics side of our business.”

North American Headquarters continue to operate from the Burkle office in Cypress, California.
