What are the best polishing agents in order to remove scratches from windshield glass surfaces? Are the inorganic fluorides and their mixtures effective in doing this?

I am familiarized with a procedure in which special liquid resins are used to filled the scratches and then a small ultraviolet lamp is held over causing resin to become solid. However you will be able to find more detailed information on this site http://www.glassfix.com/ Hope I was helpful.

Are you still looking for a solution? I sell a kit which enables you to polish the scratches on car and architectural glass. I have been selling the kit for over 10 years in England. You can e mail me on

Any type of polishing system that removes material is not distortion free. Any one that claims there system is distortion free is lying to you. You can not grind a scratch out without grinding it to its lowest level in the window. And when you do this you distort the window. There is no magical molecule replacement system. The only people making money in scratch repair are the ones selling their products to people that have never polished a piece of glass. HTH
