Another Price Increase

Can anyone explain how all the Glass Maufacturers in the UK manage to put their prices up at almost the same time (allow two weeks)and in the same format.
ie cost per mm,percentage,then variable on thickness.

Is this just Pure Coincidence?

I wish that I could increase my prices as often as the big players. But profit margins are getting smaller caused by the manufactures and they make all the money!

I think 120 views and only 4 people with comments sums it up. van/fax or the old car/tel fear sums it up.

Just accept whatever the maunufacturers say, accept that they increase by what they want and the downstream will always give extra discount!

AS you say " see through" will you be here next year if it is up to the float industry i doubt it.

Bearing in mind all of the Glass Manufacturers are International is it possible to get some posts about how many increases other countries have had since August 2006.
