Wouldn't a waterbased or non or low VOC product be "Green"? So it's free of ISO, many products are and the only concern is some ISO that could be floating in the air during the spray process. Alll of which can be cured by using proper mechanical means to vent.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Glasskote full of solvent? I may be wrong, someone help me out here.

The GlassKote(TM) process, a durable and time-tested color treatment for glass, was introduced to architects, designers and the broad glass industry in 2005. A common misperception is that 'green' means less effective -- not so. "We've just received test data from independent, certified testing labs with some incredible results," commented Mr. Belkin. "GlassKote was tested to have a pull-off adhesion strength on glass of over 2,100 pounds per square inch, and has approvals for structural silicon applications such as curtain walls. Combined with its high resistance to chemicals, humidity and environmental extremes, GlassKote really stands out as the premier color coating product." Customer testing with resin-pour and PVB laminating technologies has also yielded excellent results.

First off... it would appear to me that you are a GlassKote competitor tired of being confronted about your non-friendly paint, so instead of hiding behind an anonymous ID, why don't you tell us your real name and agenda? What in the world are you looking for with a post like this, other than trying to disparage a competitor? The good news I think is that you are obviously feeling some "heat" in the market - GlassKote is the product of choice - or you wouldn't be doing this.
To set the record straight - the facts:
a). To my knowledge, no water based or single part coatings are highly durable on glass.
b). Further, the other two-part glass coatings that we have seen used in the US are in fact Isocyanate based urethanes in chemical makeup - GlassKote is not (it is free of isocyanates of any form).
c). Isocyanates are extremely dangerous - and not necessarily just for the person applying the coating (it is nonsense to think you can ventilate safely by the way). Many in the industry question whether free isocyantes outgas from cured coatings.

I will say the EPA is extremely interested in furthering education on Isocyanates, and has been engaged with GlassKote about this topic.
e). GlassKote is HAPS free (Hazardous Air Pollutants) and low VOC. Many imported glass coatings have VOC levels in excess of 5 lbs/gallon.
f). GlassKote is free of heavy metals and other hazardous pollutants. As such, dried material is not considered hazardous waste.
g). The cleaning process used with GlassKote is extremely friendly - using an agricultural based bio-chemical that is biodegradable. We are extremely proud of this technology.
Again, GlassKote and the GlassKote Process is "green" compared to other two-part durable coatings. No, it is not a water based coating, but it wouldn't be the product of choice if it was. People see and feel the difference when they look at GlassKote, because it is the only coating on the market demonstrating this kind of adhesion and with this kind of track record.
