Mystirious breaking of toughened glass

We have recently installed toughened glass in our project. Surprisingly within months after installation it shattered down mystiriously. Please suggest how could a toughened glass could break down on its own suddenly with no apperent reason.

HI,

I suppose the reason why it broke is dependent on a lot of factors like, what sort of project was it being used in, what thickness was the glass, was it rated for use in a specific application (ie did you have it placed somewhere that exposed it to a high degree of torsional stress where it want the best candidate)

-> try heat soak test

Tempered glass can break spontaneously due to nickel sulfide inclusions. There is a lot of information about this condition in the glass industry.
