I recently took my vehicle in for service and they washed the car and cleaned the glass. Now my windshield has small chips in it all over. Some you can actually feel when you run your finger across them, they are that deep. Basically my windshield looks like a constalation, especially when the lights hit it at night.
Any thoughts on what could have caused this? I can tell you that on the same day they were using a compound to remove some tree sap from my vehicles finish and all I can figure is they used the same towel to wash my winshield with...
Thoughts and/or advice please? :)
My car is brand new for gods sakes.

Perhaps it seems to be hazy..,
IF so, they may use coarse SIC or alundum powder as compouds.
