Position Overview:

As our Product Manager, you will be responsible for relationships with key customers maintaining a deep understanding of their needs, developing and driving the strategic direction, and lifecycle management of our LiteSentry, Softsolution and (to a lesser extent) Strainoptics technology, systems and instruments and services. As Product Manager you will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to drive product innovation and ensure the success of our product offerings. You will play a pivotal role in defining the roadmap, ensuring product and service competitiveness, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategies to differentiate our products and services based on unique features, quality, and value proposition to drive growth of the business.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the applications and technical capabilities of our products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales tools, collateral, and training materials.
- Define product and services vision, goals, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives and market demands.
- Provide sales team with technical and application support to help communication of features and benefits on a deeper level to customers.
- Participate with sales team on select sales calls to help communicate the technical capabilities and differentiators of our products and the value they provide to our customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and new product developments.
- Work with the leadership team to develop pricing strategies and positioning tactics to maximize market share and profitability.
- Monitor and track competitor activities, market changes, and regulatory developments to adjust product strategies accordingly.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product differentiation.
- Learn and stay current on relevant industry specifications and norms.
- Work with our Marketing team to help direct, organize and attend key industry trade shows.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Experience in glass fabrication process, equipment and regulations is highly desired.
- A technical background in engineering or technical sales.
- Experience selling and promoting technology-based products, including software solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality management systems related to capital equipment in flat glass fabrication industry is desirable.
- Capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time; organizing, prioritizing tasks, and working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and industry trends to make data-driven decisions.
- Able to travel up to ~30%, including possible weekends and international.
- Experience with CRM tools, preferably HubSpot.
- Effective with typical business software tools such as Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or technical sales.
- Be a self-starter that is capable of working independently as well as in a team with a sense of urgency to get things accomplished.
- This position is ideally located in our Burnsville, MN facility.
