How to have high end quality of tempered glass?

As we all known that tempered glass is one kind of solution to reduce the anneal glass thermal broken because of the high temperature which caused by outside.
Today I would like to share with you that as a professional tempered glass factory Sun Global Glass factory how to control the quality of toughened glass.

The advantages of Chrome Corundum Brick

Chrome corundum brick is alumina - chrome oxide as the main raw material production of high-performance chrome corundum brick, has the characteristics of high refractoriness, great strength, good thermal shock stability, strong ability to resist erosion. In use, the scouring resistance, wear resistance, resistance to flake structure, has been in metallurgy, glass, carbon black and the petrochemical industry, has obtained the good using effect.

Laminated Glass Defect: Bubbles/Blur at Perimeter

I have a residential project where we installed casement windows and door glass panel to overlook at the great panoramic ocean view.

The laminated glass on the casement windows and doors recently began showing strange blur/bubbles around the edges of the glass (Pictures Available of Condition).

Does the above condition have a quick fix (home remedy) that can be used? Replacing the laminated glass would be very costly given the amount of windows at the residence. This condition can be observed on 90% of the windows.

Calculating STC

I have been looking for a formula to calculate the STC for a series of different window/glass combinations. In my situation, I have casement windows with 1/4" overall IG. I can insert a second pane of glass at 2" using the location of my internal screen track or at 6" where it would sit on the sill of the window. I have taken outside measurements with a professional microphone to get the frequency and loudness time series for overflight departing aircraft noise. I found that the curve reproduces jet backblast, with the loudest noise between 30Hz and 250Hz.

what is bulk density?

Bulk density is an indicator of Weight of a unit volume of a loose material (such as a powder or soil) to the same volume of water. Expressed in kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m3) or pounds per cubic foot (lb/ft3), it is a type of relative density and is used mainly in quality control, shipping, and soil analysis. Bulk density is a useful property of Refractory, which defines the material present in a given volume. An increase in bulk density of a given refractory increases its volume stability, its heat capacity, as well as resistance to slag penetration.

Toughened glass

I am wondering if panels have a chip in an edge or corner, at what size do they present a risk of breakage? From what I have read, the compression and tension layers increase as glass thickness increases. If a panel shows damage and it did not break, I read the chip did not penetrate the tension zone. Is it therefore unlikely to break? What is the expected damage size measured along the edge and face in say a panel of 6mm compared to 19mm of a chip that is likely to fail?

Thank you.
