Once every two years, the European Union awards excellence in architecture. INGLASS Warsaw 2014 has as special guest architect Ósbjørn Jacobsen, the winner of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, Mies van der Rohe Award 2013.   Ósbjørn Jacobsen will present the winning project “Harpa – Reykjavik Concert Hall” on February 4, in Warsaw, within the fourth edition of INGLASS International Architecture Conference.Ósbjørn has been stationed in Iceland in recent years, managing the construction of Harpa – Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre, which opened in August 2011.

Thus, he has gained vast experience of leading complex large-scale building projects with a broad range of national and international collaboration partners. For the time to come, Ósbjørn will have focus on pursuing new business opportunities in and around the Faroe Islands, where he is living, while at the same time working with concept and project development at the company office in Copenhagen.
