One of leading green-field investors in Bulgaria, Turkish glassware producer Sisecam, has made a bow to local culture and history giving the start to a limited series of glassware.

The culture-dedicated collection offered at the company's store Pasabahce, City Centre Sofia, features two parts.

The collection History-Culture-Glassware reproduces masterpieces of arts, including the unique Thracian treasures and heritage of Bulgarian land and symbolic motives derived from archeological findings.

The set Glassware Master comprises hand-made ornaments, gleaming in modern forms and colours.

Turkish glassware giant Sisecam started to build its store chain in Bulgaria under the corporative brand "Pasabahce." Its store spots offer glassware products produced at the Targovishte-based plant of Trakiya Glass Bulgaria and other bases of the Sisecam holding.

In February, Sisecam officially opened the second one of its three Bulgaria-based plants. The sheet glass manufacturing plant is part of a major complex in the northern town of Targovishte, the investments in the project towering to USD 220 M. The company is due to open a new plant for the production of processed glass at the end of 2006.

About 90% of the Bulgaria-made production will head for the EU market under the brand "Pasabahce".

Pasabahce is a part of Sisecam group of companies, with 31 companies operating in businesses such as Flat Glass, Packaging, Glassware and Chemicals.
