Turkish company to build factory for glass production in ‘Bunardzik’

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and CEO of Turkish company ‘Sisecam’ Ahmet Kirman, President of the Turkish Sisecam Group Dogan Arikan signed Friday in Skopje a memo of understanding on building of a factory for glass production in the free trade zone ‘Bunardzik’.

The construction of this factory, an investment of Euro 45 million, will kick off in 2010, Gruevski said, pointing out that the new plant will employ about 300 persons at the onset. Annual production plan is set at Euro 45 million.

FYRMacedonia is the friendliest country for investing in this sphere, inter alia, thanking to the tax policy, Kirman said.

The Istanbul-based Sisecam is the world’s fourth largest company manufacturing flat glass and glassware.
