The San Salvo toughening plant celebrated a record yield result for April. The plant achieved a 91.1 per cent yield for the first time ever - the target figure is 90.5 per cent.

Employees put their success down to perfect synchronisation between the pre-process lines and the production furnaces.

The five teams involved celebrated at a dinner, which ended with the cutting of a special cake shaped like a sidelight.
