Date: 6 August 2012

SWISSPACER has enjoyed continued growth at Supaseal, the leading IGU manufacturer for trade customers in Scotland and North East England.

Supaseal started to use SWISSPACER V spacer bars in its top performance sealed units five years ago, and sales of SWISSPACER to Supaseal have grown year-on-year since then.SWISSPACER has excellent thermal properties to help Supaseal provide the best performing sealed units.Sales of energy efficient sealed units have increased in recent years as specifiers and homeowners recognise the benefits of energy efficient windows.

Alex Gray, Managing Director of Supaseal said: “As demand for energy rated windows has grown, so has demand for our ‘SAVEHEAT’ brand of energy efficient glazing systems. We have been using SWISSPACER V for the past five years because it gives the best performance – it’s the Rolex of spacer bars!

“SWISSPACER has the same external dimensions as aluminium spacer bars so we were able to use it on our existing machinery, which is another benefit”, added Alex.
