ST. LOUIS, Aug 10, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Solutia Inc. (NYSE: SOA) announced today that Boeing, one of the world's largest commercial airframe manufacturers, has granted full approval for use of Skydrol(R) PE-5 hydraulic fluid in all its prior and current aircraft.

Skydrol PE-5 hydraulic fluid, a patented formulation, is now approved and listed in the Boeing Material Specifications and Qualified Products Lists as a Type V Fluid in DMSQPL2014, and Type V Grades A and C in BMS3-11N.
