Scheuten to engineer noise barriers along east section of A10

Noise barriers part of Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere trunk road extensionsScheuten, specialists in the development and production of high-quality glass products, is to team up with CADICOM to provide the engineering, production and installation of the noise barriers along the east section of the A10 trunk road.

These noise-attenuating structures will form part of the efforts to enhance the capacity of the east section of the A10 as well as the A1 at Diemen between the Amstel, Watergraafsmeer and Diemen junctions. The project is one element in the major Schiphol-Amsterdam-Almere (SAA) trunk road extensions. Implementation is being taken care of by a consortium of construction firms going by the name of CADICOM, comprising Dura Vermeer, Besix and Cofely.
