Saint-Gobain, partner of the “Friends of Glass” initiative

The Packaging Sector has been actively involved in the web site´s production "Friends of Glass", launched by The European Container Glass Federation (FEVE) of which it is a member.

This initiative aims to promote glass to European consumers, and boost their awareness of collection and recycling issues.Fun and educational, the web site provides users with an opportunity to discover five good reasons for choosing glass: its environmental strengths, its infinite recyclability, its 5,000-year history, its ability to promote products, and its purity and content conservation qualities. This interactive space also includes a blog, quizzes and videos to stimulate visitor participation by inviting them to join the Friends of Glass movement. The web site will be translated into 12 languages.
