Freefoam announce a significant increase in the number of installations registered for its 50 year Lifetime Guarantee.

Figures are up by 13% overall year on year, with some areas of the UK seeing an increase of an incredible 45%.  Freefoam achieved another first in 2012 with the introduction of the first ever 50 years Lifetime Guarantee on white PVC-U and PVC-UE roofline, rainwater and cladding products. In the last 18 months this development has helped Freefoam stockists and Registered Installers gain a significant competitive advantage in today’s challenging market.

Installers are using the benefits of this extended warranty to engage with consumers and subsequently convert leads into orders with Freefoam seeing the number of guarantee registrations rising steadily year on year. Jason Large, Simply Roofline in Peterborough explained. “We’ve been registered installers of Freefoam products since 2007. We use the benefits of the Lifetime Guarantee extensively in our sales pitch, it makes a great selling tool and breaks down the barriers to lead conversions.”

Making, and guaranteeing, long life products is a life-long company commitment by Freefoam that involves both technical and manufacturing resources and the cumulative experience of products in use over many years. Freefoam has built up an extensive databank of registered installations with detailed product information spanning many years. With intensive technical work on advanced lead-free product formulations, work with external partners and first hand evidence of many years of their weathering in a wide range of testing climates, plus accelerated weathering tests of up to 50 years, has established unrivalled knowledge of how products perform.

The Freefoam Lifetime Guarantee can be offered by any Freefoam Registered Installer on all white products including Reveal Liner, Full Replacement Fascia, Soffit, Rainwater Systems and Cladding. Installation work is registered on line and certificates are sent directly to the consumer from the manufacturer. What’s more, all guarantees are transferable allowing future homeowners to still see the benefits of the guarantee many years after initial fitting. Aidan Harte, Managing Director summarised “We know that roofline and home improvement markets are highly competitive and want to give Freefoam Registered Installers the best chance of winning business. These figures show that giving consumers guaranteed peace of mind is a winning formula”
