Profine GmbH has a new owner

Date: 11 May 2012

Profine GmbH, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of PVC-U profiles for windows and doors, has a new owner.

The Frankfurt company Hidden Peak Capital has bought up the shares of the former owner, Arcapita Bank BSC of Bahrain. The acquisi- tion is still being examined by the Competition Authorities. This German investment company is run by its owners and makes long term invest- ments above all in small and medium sized enterprises.

“Hidden Peak Capital decided to invest in the profine Group because its strong brands KBE, Kömmerling, and Trocal adopt a powerful position and can expect excellent growth on an appealing international market,” explained Dr Peter Mrosik, Managing Partner of Hidden Peak Capital. “The profine Group now has in Hidden Peak Capital a stable and strong partner at its side. We look forward to working together with our new owner,” remarked profine CEO Frank Pohl.
