PPG In Wind Energy Venture

The joint venture company, to be known as PPG-Devold LLC, will manufacture stitched fabrics primarily for the North American wind energy market.





PPG-Devold LLC will be located in PPG facilities in Shelby, N.C., adjacent to the PPG glass fiber plant.



Pittsburgh-based PPG (NYSE:PPG), which makes coatings, chemicals and glass, did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
