Pleotint, LLC, has announced a distribution partnership with H Window Company, Ashland, Wisconsin, enabling H Window to incorporate Suntuitive glass into its full window and door product lines.

H Window manufactures new and replacement windows for residential, commercial, institutional, and government projects across the country.The company’s aluminum/wood composite windows feature a unique hinge system, which revolves a full 180 degrees for glass cleaning and maintenance from the interior of a home or building.



Dane Gleeson, marketing and sales coordinator for H Window, said the company offers a variety of window solutions, but customers have increasingly been asking about dynamic windows.



“We felt that adding a dynamic glass technology would open up more options for our clients,” he said. “With our unique hinge system, Suntuitive glass was an ideal solution for us because there are no wires to worry about catching or snagging when opening the window and it helps maintains a clean, streamlined appearance.”



When paired with low-emissivity glass in an insulating glass unit, Suntuitive glass can produce visible light transmittance of as high as 60 percent in a clear state, solar heat gain coefficients as low as 0.11 in a darkened state, and reduce heating-, cooling-, and lighting-related energy costs.
