The highly reputable Palais des Congrès, which hosted 207 events and brought in 660,000 visitors, generating economic spin-offs of more than $200 million in 2005 alone, has been renovated with 30,000 SQFT of high performance sealed glass units protected with DFIs low-maintenance nanocoating Diamon-Fusion®, supplied by DFIs Canadian Licensee PRELCO, as one of the buildings special features showcased in this renovation.The Palais des Congrès covers 18,590 square meters (200,000 square feet) of multifunctional spaces. Diamon-Fusion® was specified by architectural plans to be added to the building for easy-to-clean purposes and added brilliance. The signature of the new architecture clearly concretizes the ideals of light and transparency.
PRELCO, 50-year company based in Rivere-du-Loup, Quebec, is a leading Canadian manufacturer of specialty glass for architectural design, industrial, and transportation applications.
