North American customer open days for automotive glass a major success

Date: 11 August 2014

When ISRA announced the North American Customer Open Days for Automotive Glass to take place in Mid-May, feedback was overwhelming: Many global companies including the most important manufacturers from Mexico, Korea and the United States followed the invitation to Duluth, Georgia to participate in the workshop specifically dedicated to the FORMSCAN and SCREENSCAN inspection solutions.  In order to accommodate all registrations, ISRA had to add extra dates to the schedule.

The presentations and live demonstrations of innovations for quality control, process management and increased production efficiency received a strictly positive response - making the workshop a major success that is sure to be repeated in the future.

The concept behind ISRA workshops heavily relies on hands-on elements. After a brief theoretical introduction to the FORMSCAN and SCREENSCAN systems, participants got to witness an impressive live demonstration. They were able to get an exclusive look at the unique functionality of the in-line systems for 3D form and reflected distortion measurement, prompting participants to place their orders with ISRA. Supplemented by comments and explanations of the ISRA specialists, they learned how the inspection methods help reach highest possible quality standards while at the same time reducing production costs. Along with a very short ROI, these are convincing arguments.

Also during the workshop, existing customers enthusiastically told about the benefits enabled by ISRA inspection technology. Their comments attracted visible interest from others who wanted ISRA to help them save costs as well. All representatives asked questions and interacted during the event, causing the workshop to be very lively and enjoyable.

Frequent workshops are an integral part of ISRA’s calendar. In these free special events, potential and existing customers gain a first-hand impression of the product portfolio and have the chance to converse in technical discussions with ISRA experts. ISRA values the workshops as great opportunities to meet customers face-to-face and learn more about their individual needs and requirements. Through the exchange of personal experiences in one-on-one meetings, ISRA collects valuable information that helps to serve customers even better.
