New Chief Technology Officer at Bohle AG

The Supervisory Board of Bohle AG has appointed Dr.Thorsten Böllinghaus as a new member of the Board of Directors. 

In addition to Arne Klöfkorn, who has been responsible for the sales and marketing operations of the company since 2008 in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dr. Thorsten Böllinghaus will focus on the technical operations in his role as a member of the Board of Directors.Thorsten Böllinghaus will focus on the technical operations in his role as a member of the Board of Directors.

The 42-year old postgraduate engineer looks back on many years of experience in the glass industry: after studying metallurgy and materials engineering at RWTH Aachen University and the École Centrale Paris, Dr. Böllinghaus was employed by the Saint-Gobain Group for 13 years. He managed the production of a plant in Belgium, amongst other things, before he took on the overall management of Saint-Gobain Glass plants in Stolberg and Herzogenrath. In addition to his technical education, Dr. Thorsten Böllinghaus who was born in Lüdenscheid//North Rhine-Westphalia completed a degree in industrial engineering. Dr. Thorsten Böllinghaus is married and has two children.
