Marathon success for Carl F Groupco's Marketing Executive

A Carl F Groupco employee has successfully completed the 2012 MoonWalk 26.2 mile marathon. Clare White, the company’s Marketing Executive, was among the 17,000 walkers who took part in this year’s event in London.

Clare took part in this year’s walk with eight team members who completed the full marathon in eight hours. Commenting on her experience, Clare said:



“I have never attempted anything like this before but I entered because it is such a good cause: I hadn’t anticipated how challenging the walk would be.



“It was a very enjoyable event, the atmosphere was incredible. However, at the 20 mile mark I could start to feel the blisters. After the event, I couldn’t walk properly for a week!”



Clare’s team entered the event for family reasons and raised a total of £2,000. The event has so far raised over £7 million.
