The research and development team from Lumiglass was present for the testing of the company's armour product lines.
KADDB technical engineers granted official certification based on EN 1063, the European standard for ballistic testing and rating.
Specially designed Lumiglass products also adhere to EN 1522's 'special' protection levels for glass thicknesses ranging from 32mm to 91mm glass. Based on these standards, the glass line is capable of resisting up to 7.62 X 39 AK-47, 7.62 X 39 API BZ, 7.62 X 54 AP 'B32 API' ammunition.
