Libbey Inc. Names New Chief Financial Officer

(NYSE MKT: LBY) today announced that Sherry Buck is being appointed to the position of Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.  Ms.

Buck will be joining Libbey as an Officer of the Company on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.

Ms. Buck comes to Libbey from Whirlpool Corporation where she has served as Chief Financial Officer, Global Product and Enterprise Cost Leadership since October 2010.  Before her current position, Ms. Buck was Vice President Finance US for Whirlpool Corporation from 2009 to September 2010. 

Concurrent with Ms. Buck's assignment, Richard Reynolds, previously Chief Financial Officer, was named to the new position of Executive Vice President, Strategy Program Management.

Commenting on the addition of Ms. Buck, Stephanie A.
