By adopting three-bus electrode circuitry in combination with its d.Blue solar cell technology, Kyocera has increased the power output of its solar modules by as much as seven percent without affecting the physical size of the modules. As a result, Kyoceras module designations are now KC40T, KC50T, KC65T, KC85T, KC130TM, KC130GT, KC175GT and KC200GT. This gives the Kyocera module line a broad power range from 40 watts to 200 watts -- providing a solution for nearly every application.
The d.Blue technology is a process of texturing the surface of the solar cells to reduce reflection. This keeps more of the light energy within the cell, creating the gain in output power. The cell texturing and the new three-bus-bar electrodes combine to raise module performance to a new level.
Constant improvement has always been a part of Kyoceras business philosophy, said Mark Voitek, Kyocera Solar, Inc.s Vice President of Sales. This improvement in the wattage of our solar modules is Kyoceras philosophy brought to reality.
Sold exclusively to a network of Kyocera-authorized dealers, contractors, industrial users and O.E.Ms, the new KC modules are ideal for use anywhere clean, reliable electricity is needed. The entire line of new modules is covered by Kyoceras 25-year power output warranty.
