Jeld-Wen to open new Louisiana plant

Jeld-Wen Inc.    on Friday announced plans to open a new manufacturing plant in Louisiana later this year.

The Klamath Falls-based window and door manufacturer had initially broken ground on the $120 million project in 2007 but put it on hold as the nation’s home construction market collapsed.
