Japan's Asahi Glass Co. (ASGLY) has begun supplying glass for Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp.'s (3009.TW) advanced 7.5-generation liquid-crystal-display panels, the Economic Daily News reported Monday, citing unnamed industry sources.
