James Mouton takes charge of NürnbergMesse North America

Date: 27 June 2014

James Mouton becomes NürnbergMesse North America’s new managing director on 1st July 2014. As an acknowledged exhibition expert, Mouton will be controlling the service portfolio of NürnbergMesse North America from Atlanta in future, allowing the company to benefit from his experience in this area.  The CEOs of the NürnbergMesse Group, Peter Ottmann and Dr.

Roland Fleck, both feel the same way about the new appointment and said: “We are pleased to have acquired an exhibition industry expert in James Mouton. He knows how the local exhibition market ticks and has the specialist knowledge we require.”

James Mouton has gained extensive sales and trade fair experience in his previous professional roles. His last position was Director Trade Shows and Conferences with the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, where he was running the first in-house trade shows production & management department. He will now be able to contribute this knowledge to the activities of NürnbergMesse North America, so that the next step in the company’s development can be taken. In a market that is characterised by considerable competition, NürnbergMesse North America’s very international event portfolio needs to be positioned in a way that allows additional growth effects to be generated. Another thing James Mouton and his team will be focusing on is using their position as an overseas representative to increase the presence of American exhibitors and visitors at the NürnbergMesse Group’s highly specialised trade fairs.

James Mouton replaces Dirk Ebener, who has decided to devote his attention to some new professional challenges.
