IPC is a service package offered by Tyrolit with the scope to increase the productivity of production processes with a particular focus on grinding operations.

The optimisation-concept is based on an evaluation of all system components with an impact on the productivity of the production processes analysed; this includes process technology, lead times, machinery and equipment, resource and environmental management, as well as logistic solutions (e. g. tool - management) and the know-how of the operators involved.

The project workflow of ipc - projects follows a procedure that has already proven successful in a number of projects.

Ipc - projects follow clear and quantified objectives which are agreed with the customer prior to project launch. The project itself is performed by a team of experts recruited out of a pool of specialists with different core skills, monitored and controlled by an ipc – project manager. The resource within this pool is based on know-how co-operations with partner companies (e. g. RhenusLub GmbH for coolant technology).

It is an essential part of the ipc - concept that the service is not limited to proposals for improvements only, but also includes their implementation. In particular this allows companies with limited resources –mainly focused on securing the stability of their ongoing production processes on a certain level- to benefit of the ipc-concept.

Within ipc - projects it is not unusual that the production costs are reduced by more than 20% and the output of the production unit can be increased by a similar percentage.
